Angels 4, Twins 3

Radke has his best start since his April start against Kansas City and the Twins went into the bottom of the 8th with a 3-2 lead which is almost always safe considering they have Rincon and Nathan to finish close out the game. Poor defense cost the Twins the game though. In the eighth inning Juan Rincon got 2 quick outs, but then walked Jose Molina. Adam Kennedy then grounded to Juan Castro who's throw couldn't be handled by Justin Morneau. No error was given, but it was a play that Morneau should've made. Following that play Luis Castillo had a ball hit off his glove which tied the game.

The Twins dropped the final game of the 3 game set with the Angles and also last the series 2 game to 1. Jesse Crain took the loss for the Twins giving up 2 runs in the 8th inning. Crain pitched scoreless 6th and 7th innings, and then retired the first 2 batters in the 8th. He gave up 3 straight hits after that including a double to Jose Molina. Crain shouldn't have gone 3 innings today, but Lohse's poor outing yesterday caused the bullpen to get used up.
