Monroe's homers beat Boston
It's hard to believe, but Sunday night's game was the first multi-homer game for the Twins of the season. Not by one player, but for the whole team. In fact, the Twins had 3 homers. Craig Monroe had a 3-run shot in the second inning and then what proved to be a game winning solo homer in the seventh.
Offensive struggles continue for Twins
A quality start from Boof Bonser wasn't enough to overcome the continued offensive struggles of the Twins. Through seven games their offense is averaging only 2.7 runs per game and they've been limited to 1 or less run in 3 games.
Twins win opener against Kansas City
The Twins played their 4th 1-run game of the young season, this time barely coming out on top against the Kansas City Royals. The loss was the first of the season for Kansas City, who had opened their season with a 3-game sweep of Detroit.

2008 Projection: Adam Everett
Initially it was thought that Brendan Harris would replace Jason Bartlett at shortstop following the trade with Tampa Bay, but shortly after that the Twins signed free agent Adam Everett to fill that void. Let's look at his numbers. They're scary, so proceed at your own risk.
2008 Projection: Brendan Harris

Twins waste no time signing Adam Everett
The day after the Astros non-tendered Adam Everett as a result of their trade for Miguel Tejada, the Twins have signed him to a 1-year deal. Everyone will rave about his defensive ability at SS. That's all fine and dandy, but doesn't this team really need help with the bats? Everett has a career line of .248/.299/.357.
Win Streak Halted in Houston
The Twins 8-game win streak came to an end with a 5-3 loss on Wednesday night in Houston. Carlos Silva put together another quality start, but the lack of run support and a shaky outing from Kyle Lohse combined for the loss. Silva gave up a solo homerun in the 1st inning but then put together 4 scoreless innings before allowing 1 run in the 6th and walking the only batter he faced in the 7th. Juan Rincon came in and threw a wild pitch and gave up a double which tied the game.
