  • Carlos Silva: 2 2/3 IP, 9 ER. Ummm, I guess he didn’t walk anyone. That’s good, right?
  • Even Liriano struggled today giving up 5 ER in 3.0 IP. He looked even more depressed sitting on the bench after being pulled than the average person in Twins Nation. That’s pretty depressed. On the bright side, it’s a character builder, as Bert would say.
  • Detroit had 28 hits including 4 homeruns.
