One decision remains...

...and that will be decided with Francisco Liriano's start today against Pittsburgh. If he looks sharp he'll likely get the final spot in the rotation. If not, he'll start the season in AAA getting in a little more preparation after returning from Tommy John surgery and getting a late start to the spring with visa issues.

That decision directly affects Nick Blackburn, who is waiting, because if Liriano doesn't get the job, it belongs to Blackburn.

Carlos Gomez provided a bit of a scare after getting a cramp in his leg on Wednesday, not long after winning the center field job. He and the team insist that it's not a serious injury, but they're still taking every precaution. Gomez expects to return by Saturday at the latest.

Scott Baker appears to be on track to avoid the disabled list and be the team's fifth starter to begin the season.

With all that said, the roster is pretty much set for opening day on Monday.
