The Twins were pretty flight all-around on Saturday. Sloppy defensive play is being blamed for the 4-1 loss, and there's definitely some validity to that clame, however, the offense also only scored 1 run. It's tough to win games with 1 run scored.

In the first inning a lost ball in the ceiling and a throwing error by Bartlett gave the White Sox five outs, and it was pretty impressive that Radke came out of it with just 1 run allowed. Nick Punto made an error in the 2nd inning which was responsible for the second White Sox run. The only run credited to Radke game on a Rob Mackowiak blast in the fourth inning.

The Twins offense just couldn't get anything going all night long. Nick Punto came up with a clutch 2-out hit in the third to score Jason Tyner, but that was all the Twins would do. In the first inning Michael Cuddyer came up with two on and 1 out and hit into a double play. Luis Castillo also had a sure double taken away, when his hit down the third base line was stopped by the umpire.

• The Twins had just five hits and 1 free pass in the game.
• Nick Punto and Jason Tyner combined for four of the Twins' five hits.
• Willie Eyre pitched well in relief, allowing 1 run through 3 innings. The run scored on another fielding blunder in which the Punto and Morneau failed to get A.J. Pierzynski in a rundown which allowed Thome to score.

After Friday night's big upset, Saturday's game was a bit deflating. On the bright side, though, the Twins have Johan Santana on the mound Sunday which gives them a pretty good chance to win the series. Chicago has to head to Detroit this week while the Twins will be facing Baltimore.
