Neshek Fast Cast updated July 4th, 2007 at 11:49 pm
The Neshek Fast Cast script has gone through a couple updates since I originally released it almost 24 hours ago, so I wanted to make sure everyone knew about the improvements and got the update.
Here’s a summary of what it does now:
- Unchecks the 2 email check boxes automatically so you don’t have to do it every time.
- Automatically selects Pat Neshek and Chris Young on the ballot
- Blows up the captcha validation image to more than twice the original size to make it much easier to read. Now your grandparents can vote too!
- You can press the enter key to submit the form. Only clicking the button with the mouse worked before (except in Safari).
- Automatically redirects you back to the vote page after you cast each vote. This saves you the time of clicking the “Vote Again” button.
The same instructions as before still apply.

Voltaire, I've explained this several times already. Check the comments in the original post.
In summary, if you get the code entered right, it will count it. If you don't it probably won't count it (it just doesn't provide you with any feedback about it not being correct).
If everything is filled in, there's no way it's not being counted. Don't be so paranoid about it.

Thank you. I'll trust you. I'm an Indians fan and they play the Tigers at 1 today. How perfect. A Tribe game to listen to, and a Pat Neshek to vote for the entire time. :-D

Sounds like a good plan, Voltaire.
An Indians fan that likes Boof and Neshek, huh? Interesting.

Well, the Tribe comes first. If the Twins and Tribe are ever good at the same time, I'm going to have some serious problems. :-)
Pre-game is underway, and around Vote #500…

I'm concerned that the votes may not be counted. When I once clicked "enter" too quickly without entering a validation code, I was still sent to the "Congrats, you've voted for" with Neshek and Young selected. This makes me concerned that my votes may not even count when I do enter the code. What do you think?
