This is bad news for Twins fans. Liriano is still feeling pain in his throwing elbow after missing the final month of the season. It was originally thought that rest and strength building would be the solution, but that seems less likely.
What does this mean for Liriano and the Twins in 2007? The Twins would be wise to not count on Liriano next season. If he turns out to be healthy there’s definitely nothing wrong with having too many pitchers.
