Clemens to Return May 31st, 2006 at 3:05 pm

Roger Clemens has agreed on a pro-rated $22 million contract with the Houston Astros and will pitch in a couple starts in the minors before joining what will be a much improved starting rotation.

What does this have to do with the Twins? The AP Story reports:

“The tentative goal is to have him start against the Minnesota Twins on June 22”

June 22nd is still three weeks away, but if things turn out as planned that’s some bad luck for the Twins. Hopefully he’ll still be working off some rust, but a rusty rocket can still do some damage.

Apologies, the Tuesday game recap was added late.
