An afternoon update

Just a few interesting things to point out this afternoon:
- Luis Castillo broke the errorless streak record at 2B...last week. He's currently at 131 errorless games in a row which tops Ryne Sandberg's streak of 123. Fortunately not everyone forgot. Jason Bartlett, with 8 errors on the season, has done an admirable job of picking up Castillo's slack.
- Nick & Nick pointed out the interesting fact that the Twins are just 1-9 in the last 10 games started by Ramon Ortiz, Carlos Silva and Sidney Ponson this month.
- Glen Perkins has been placed on the DL and lefthander Carmen Cali will join the Twins to replace him in the bullpen. Cali has just over 13 innings of major league experience most recently with St. Louis way back in June of 2005. Let's hope the third time's a charm for Cali.
- Surprisingly, Dennys Reyes will not head to the DL. He'll just rest his arm for a few days.
